Hi, we're Alex and Brandon Jolly.
Our mother, Cathy, was found on the floor on Thursday, March 19, by our grandfather. She was rushed to the hospital where doctors found a significant amount of bleeding in her brain, which led them to discover a tumor. The tumor has since been removed and is now being tested, which will take a couple of weeks for results.
What we now know is that this was a rapidly growing tumor that had already begun affecting her. In the time leading up to this, there were noticeable changes in her personality that we did not understand at the time. Unfortunately, this also led to her losing her job before we even knew what was really going on.
She is a hardworking single mother of two who has always done everything she can for us. Right now, she is unable to work and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She is also uninsured, which makes the cost of medical care and recovery extremely difficult. On top of that, she has been helping Alex pay for college, which is no longer possible with no income coming in. We are also hoping this can help cover travel expenses for both of us, so we can be there for her throughout her recovery.
We are asking for any support you can give during this time. Anything truly helps, whether it is a donation, a share, or simply keeping our mom in your thoughts.
Thank you so much for your support.
