Cathy Munch’s family home destroyed by Hurricane Helene.

Dear friends of the Cathy Munch family and compassionate strangers,

Our hearts are heavy as we share the story of the Munch family facing unimaginable hardship. Last year, they lost their beloved husband and father, Bill Munch, who was the heart and soul of their home. Just as they were grappling with this profound loss, disaster struck again.

Hurricane Helene ravaged their home, leaving it in utter disaster. In the blink of an eye, they lost their house, most of their belongings, memories, and the security they had left. Now, they are struggling to rebuild their lives from the ground up while still grieving the irreplaceable loss of their loved one.

This family has been through so much; now, they need us more than ever. This latest tragedy has inspired us to launch a GoFundMe, which will help them regain their lives. Donations will go directly towards:

• Finding a temporary place to live and begin the long process of rebuilding

• Replacing essential items, like clothes, furniture, and everyday necessities

• Supporting them in their emotional recovery and helping them stand back on their feet
