I’m Cathy McDearmid, and I’m reaching out during this difficult time as I work to honor the life of my beloved husband, Thomas S. McDearmid. After 51 wonderful years of marriage, Thomas passed away on December 13, 2024, leaving behind countless memories and a legacy of love and laughter.

Thomas dedicated his life to his family, his career as a superintendent in commercial construction, and his passions for gardening, fishing, and hunting. He also proudly served his country as an Equipment Operator in the Navy Seabees. For the past two years, Thomas faced a decline in health, which made his passing both a heartbreaking and significant loss for our family.

As I prepare for Thomas’s celebration of life at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, I’m also facing unexpected financial challenges. These include funeral costs, the expenses for his memorial service, and the adjustments in our household finances.
