On May 27, 2026, we unexpectedly lost Timothy Caroll Burney, 77, of Kennesaw, Georgia, following a brief illness. Tim was a beloved husband, artist, photographer, designer, and creative visionary whose work and friendships touched countless lives. As the founder of Timothy B Designs and Visual Sense Design, Tim was known for his extraordinary artistic talent, inspiring showrooms, and ability to create beauty wherever he went. Yet those who knew him best will remember his kindness, generosity, gentle spirit, and genuine interest in others. Tim shared nearly fifty years of love and partnership with his wife, Catherine "Cathy" Ermel Burney. His creative work helped support their household, and his sudden passing has left Cathy facing significant financial challenges while grieving the loss of her best friend and life partner.
