Hey everyone, I am starting this GoFundMe for my coworker and her family. Her husband, Bill, passed away on June 11 after ongoing complications from a head-on car accident he was involved in on April 22 while on his way to work at J. Reuben Long Detention Center.

He suffered multiple, serious injuries and was at Grand Strand Medical Center for over a month before being released home around Memorial Day. Once he was home, he continued to have issues relating to the accident.

His medical bills continue to pile up during his extended stay at GSMC. Bill and Cathy have triplet boys, one of whom has special medical needs. Between college funds and medical bills, Cathy will be unable to provide for all with her sole income.

Cathy spent weeks off work tending to her husband in the hospital, had many late nights taking her son to the emergency room, and relied heavily on Bill’s income and help around the house. Three young men lost their father just days before Father’s Day. Whatever we can give her will make a huge difference in her life.
