Hello everyone! My name is Catherine, as most of you know. In the past, this app helped our family immensely by providing much-needed medical supplies & more for our daughter.

We have come into a bit of a crisis mode again this summer. I broke my ankle in mid-June. My doctor seems to think I will not be able to return to work until mid-September. The first couple of weeks, I was in quite a lot of pain & had to rely on Jeff to stay home and take care of myself & the kids without any wages coming in. We are now forced into him having to get back to work, even if it’s a couple of days here & there.

As a lot of you know, our daughter is severely disabled and she cannot do anything on her own. Of course, the last month we have had at least 3 appointments a week that we have been waiting months for. All were for specialists that she would greatly benefit from. I cannot drive or get down our apartment stairs with her on my own. I still cannot bear weight on my ankle; therefore, I’m relying on crutches & a knee scooter to get around.

We are going to be very behind as I’m still waiting to get my disability figured out, which I’m not sure how much that will be. I know times are tough for everyone & times are changing so much. The only security we have right now is for our daughter's SSI payments due to her having cerebral palsy, which covers our rent and that’s it. If anyone can share or lend a helping hand, we would greatly appreciate it. We have exhausted emergency funds and are at a loss of what to do. He is trying to get work in as much as he can with as much as I can tolerate being alone with the kids. We don’t want to risk any more injuries carrying the baby on a knee scooter.
