Support Cate's Healing Journey in Chicago

I am lucky enough to call Cate a dear friend. I know she is that to so many of you, and the last 18 months since her cancer diagnosis have also displayed how brave and determined she is.

After spending the early spring in Houston, TX doing radiation treatments and recovering from that, Cate moved back to Columbia in June and took a break from treatments. The last 5 months have been so sweet (for us in Columbia!) and also for her as she has had space and time to consider her next steps. She has enjoyed her "haven of healing" and time with family and friends near and far.

As of today, Cate is headed to Chicago! She has decided to pursue a treatment approach that includes chemotherapy along with several integrative therapies. After researching this option and having numerous talks with oncology providers, Cate feels as though this option strikes a good balance of conventional and integrative therapies that fits her needs well. The program is for 9 weeks.

The estimated cost of her treatment is $25,980. Insurance does not cover it. She has an Airbnb for the first 3 weeks that costs $3,600. We have an opportunity to rally around Cate in financial support as she takes this step. I know many of us want to help in a tangible way and THIS is that!!!!
