Hi friends!

My name is Catalina Martinez, I’m 23 years old and have been battling stage 2 venous disease & lipedema over the course of 10+ years.

After years of misdiagnosis, fighting with insurance, and losing myself over the years of trauma fighting for answers, I received clearance from my doctors to get surgery.

Since I was 12, my legs have been in constant pain. The tissues, valves, veins and fat in a typical body are smooth, flat, and inconspicuous. My lipedema & venous disease caused abnormally enlarged, twisted bulging veins, nodular fat deposits and damaged connective tissue that don’t respond to diet or exercise, and the condition only worsens over time without treatment. These are both chronic diseases that have no cure.

I’ve had several procedures in the past, but none eased the pain. Now, with a proper diagnosis and clearance from my doctors, I’m preparing for life-changing surgery and ongoing medical care to finally stop the progression and improve my quality of life.
