Update: With Broken Hearts
It is with the heaviest hearts that we share this update.
After numerous tests and evaluations, the doctors have confirmed that our sweet Cataleya is officially brain dead. Despite every effort, every prayer, and every ounce of hope we held onto, her little body has endured more than it could overcome.
Tomorrow, we will say goodbye to our beautiful 7-year-old girl.
Cataleya was pure light. She was love, laughter, kindness, and joy wrapped into one incredible little soul. She changed everyone who knew her, even in her short time here. Nothing could have prepared us for this moment, and the pain is unimaginable.
As parents, we are shattered—but we are staying by her side, holding her, loving her, and honoring her with the peace and dignity she deserves.
We are now asking for help with funeral and cremation expenses, something no parent ever imagines having to ask for. Any remaining funds will go toward laying our daughter to rest and covering the overwhelming medical and end-of-life expenses we are facing.
If you are able to donate, share this page, or keep our family in your prayers, we are beyond grateful. Your love and support have carried us through the darkest days of our lives, and we feel it deeply.
Thank you for loving Cataleya. Thank you for believing in her. Thank you for holding us up when we can barely stand.
Forever our angel.
Our family is facing the most unimaginable nightmare.
Our sweet 7-year-old Cataleya is currently in the hospital on life support after suffering respiratory failure and sudden cardiac arrest. Her heart stopped, and although doctors were able to bring her back, her body has been through an incredible amount of trauma. Right now, she is fighting for her life, surrounded by machines that are helping her breathe and rest while doctors do everything possible to save her.
She is a bright, loving little girl with the biggest heart. Cataleya is everything light and love. She has the sweetest smile, the kindest heart, and a spirit that fills every room. She loves to laugh, play, and dream big. She should be at home being a kid—not lying in a hospital bed surrounded by machines. She loves to laugh, play, and bring joy to everyone around her. She should be worrying about school and her favorite shows—not fighting for her life in an ICU bed.
The doctors have been honest with us: only a miracle can save her right now. We are praying nonstop and holding onto hope with everything we have. Every moment matters.
As parents, we have not left her side. The medical care she needs is extensive and ongoing, and the financial burden is growing quickly—hospital stays, ICU care, treatments, time away from work, and the unknown road ahead.
We are asking for help so we can focus on what matters most: being present for our daughter and fighting alongside her.
If you are able to donate, share, or keep our daughter in your prayers, it means more than words can express. Every act of kindness—no matter how small—helps carry us through this impossible time.
Thank you for standing with us, for believing in miracles, and for helping our little girl continue her fight.
