I’m reaching out to you today because I need help with a surgery that will significantly improve my quality of life.

I was born with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1), a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow along nerves in the body. These tumors are usually benign, but they can cause excruciating pain, deformity, and can affect my ability to go about daily life. I’ve lived with this condition my entire life, and while I’ve faced numerous challenges, the growth of tumors has affected me in ways I can no longer ignore.

The tumors I’ve developed range in size and are located in both external and internal areas, including intimate places. Some of these tumors cause severe pain, and their placement impacts my personal and romantic life. In addition, tumors that grow in critical areas of my body can lead to further damage to bone or surrounding tissues, creating the potential for more complicated issues in the future.

One of the most pressing concerns I have right now is the removal of several large tumors. This surgery is not covered by insurance, and the cost is substantial. The procedure will help remove these tumors, improving my daily comfort, boosting my self-esteem, and relieving the constant physical and emotional strain that these tumors have caused. Simply being able to wear clothing that doesn’t catch or pull on these tumors would be a major improvement, not to mention the positive effects it will have on my mental health and self-image.

For years, I have endured surgeries and countless challenges as a result of NF1, but this procedure is a crucial step in preventing further complications and ensuring that I can live a healthier, more comfortable life.
