If you know her, you know her as a feisty, outgoing, fun, loving, crazy, amazing mom, wife, daughter, friend, sister, cousin, niece.... all the things.

Cassiti, even through the past few years of fighting triple negative breast cancer - continues to show her resilience and be all of those things! She is a fighter like none other. And right now, she's fighting with all her might!

Brief history: In April of 2021, just a few days after Cassiti turned 45, she woke up one morning and discovered a small lump. She decided to go get it checked out and was shocked to be diagnosed at that point with Stage III Triple Negative Breast Cancer. To quote Cassiti: "My life changed from that day forward." In September 2022, Cassiti's cancer had progressed from Stage III to Stage IV. Since then, Cassiti has been fighting this cancer nonstop with different chemotherapies, radiation, supplements, you name it - including enduring weeks of grueling whole brain radiation treatment. To say Cassiti is a fighter is an understatement.

Fast forward to 2024, Cassiti's cancer has unfortunately spread into her spine, liver, and other areas and is going to take serious fight, determination, and MD Anderson resources. Cassiti is currently hospitalized in Houston (with Donnie at her side) getting the process started, where the doctors are running scans to determine next steps for additional radiation and chemotherapy options and helping alleviate her pain. At this point, we just don't know how long they need to be in Houston - and the costs are getting high. Therefore their close family members have talked Donnie and Cassiti into letting us start this GoFundMe for anyone that's looking for a way to help! Trust me when I say they really hesitated at agreeing, and we understand that! We had to express to them that it's ok to put their pride aside and let their loved ones help!
