Cassie's kicking cancer’s ass (and needs your help!)

This may be a surprise, but taking action has been taking top priority. For the last few months, Cassie has been bravely battling stage 3 Triple Negative breast cancer. For her adoring community (that’s you!) this campaign is a spot to help alleviate the financial burdens of treatment and care, while also being a place for updates and news that she doesn’t have to handle directly.

Cassie is known for her hard work and dedication in all areas of her life, whether professional, on stage, or doing tireless volunteer work. Her strength, resilience, determination, and dark sense of humor inspire me every day. Since her diagnosis, she has undergone 12 rounds of chemo and is headed to surgery soon with more treatment likely. Due to not living in Canada or one of the other 78 countries with universal healthcare the medical expenses are substantial, and even with good insurance this is creating a financial strain. Your contributions will help cover:

- Medical bills and treatment costs

- Travel expenses for doctor's appointments and hospital visits

- Everyday living expenses, allowing Cassie (and Carina) to focus on the work of recovery
