Support Cassie Johnson's Cancer Fight

Hi! My name is Kori Nelson and I have set this GoFundMe up for our niece, Cassie Johnson and her family—husband Shane, daughter Grace, and son Gunner! Unfortunately, Cassie is battling cancer and we are hoping to alleviate some of the financial stress that comes with her diagnosis.

Cassie was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on September 10th , 2024 followed by a double mastectomy on December 4th . The surgeon removed 31 lymph node’s during her mastectomy and out of those, 24 of them came back positive for cancer. After her surgery they discovered that the cancer had spread to her lungs and liver. She is at stage 4 . On December 30th she had bone scan done and they found no cancer in her bones, praise God!!!! Cassie’s current team of doctors have decided that she would be better served with a new team in Denver Colorado where they will come up with a treatment plan for her! While a few year ago they moved to Wyoming and Colorado isn’t far for them to travel, Shane is having to take time off of work to help with these appointments. Cassie also has a few other surgeries planned this year also. Please pray for Cassie, Shane and the kiddos as they move forward with this battle!
