Support Cassie Heiderich's Stroke Recovery

Update 8/18 She is still in Cleveland clinic surgical icu.Went up yesterday also, she was more alert. Her eyes are looking much better. They said she has been breathing mostly on her own, they have the ventilator set to cpap mode. She was happy to see her sister Tiffany Heiderich and I. More good news, my sister went to take a picture and Cassie Heiderich said she was able to see the flash. Her vision is finally starting to come back after almost a month. They are still keeping her eyes closed to let them heal better. Keep praying for her, thanks.

Update 8/13: Cassie got moved to the Cleveland clinic icu to better treat her eye infections. They tried to test her breathing and she did good. They said she was up to an hour without the vent. I am not sure how long she will need to be in Cleveland but should be coming back to select, a separate company but in st Elizabeth downtown. They are going to help her finish getting off the vent fully. Then hopefully she can finally start rehab. Thanks everybody for your support.
Hi, I am Bryan Foerster. I made this for my sister, Cassie Heiderich. She needs all the help she can get for her medical expenses and bills. She can't go to work and her bills are piling up. She will not be able to go back to work anytime soon. She contracted a bad case of listeria that caused her to have 2 strokes. One of them was a brain stem stroke, it controls things like speech, vision, and involuntary responses like swallowing, breathing, heart rate and body temperature.

Currently, she is sedated and on a ventilator because she was having trouble breathing after she finally made it to the stroke unit at St. Elizabeth. She is having a tracheotomy surgery and has trouble swallowing so she has a feeding tube too. It has almost been two weeks since the event today 8/8, she has a very long road to recovery. She has not been able to get up out of the bed to see how the rest of her body will be. She is only 31, this is just crazy.

Anybody that knows her from working at Quinn's gas station or around the store or growing up, knows that she is the sweetest most caring person that you could ever want. Let us all show how much we care back to her. Thanks for your donations, everybody.
