Cassidy and I have been friends for six years, ever since we met working together at Navy Federal Credit Union. Over time, our friendship has grown into something truly one of a kind and special—she has become my chosen family, and I’m proud to be 'Crazy Aunt Alli' to Kenn and her two wonderful daughters. Cassidy and Kenn have built a loving family together, and their home is always filled with laughter and warmth. Cassidy is the kind of person who always puts others first, she feels like a hug in the form of a person, and Kenn is her steady and unwavering partner, supporting her and the girls through every challenge.

Recently, Cassidy’s battle with Crohn’s disease took a difficult turn. She needed surgery to remove the active Crohn’s from her intestines, but complications arose, leading to the need for another emergency operation, a longer hospital stay, and other complications. With two young girls at home, this unexpected situation has put a strain on their family—emotionally, physically, and financially. Kenn has been doing everything he can to keep things running smoothly for the girls while supporting Cassidy through her recovery.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover Cassidy’s medical bills and daily expenses while she heals.
