Hello, im Cassidy. I came out to Omaha for my daughter’s surgery tomorrow (12/15/2025) i was doordashing to cover expenses and got a doordash for somebody that works for the channel 6 news! Well i got to tell my story with him about my daughter being deaf and how hard and expensive it can really be. So i’m here to tell the story here as well!

My daughter is almost 3 years old. she’s been deaf her whole life. We have many appointments in Omaha for surgeries and check ups etc. we live in Kearney so that’s a long drive, and lots of expenses to get covered. I don’t even have a vehicle at the moment for these appointments i’m having to figure out a vehicle every time for these appointments and then all the expenses. Doordashing out in omaha has helped with some expensive like hotel, gas and food. it doesn’t cover anything else that is having to be paid for. this is a never ending journey for me and my daughter. so here i am telling this story and creating this in hopes for help i guess.
