Hi everyone,
I’m creating this fundraiser for my best friend, Cassandra — someone who means the world to me, and to so many others.
Cassandra was recently diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. The road ahead is going to be long, emotional, and intense. She’ll be undergoing aggressive treatment consisting of multiple surgeries, radiation and possibly chemo. This diagnosis came so suddenly and has shaken her entire world. Her life changed overnight, and she’s now in the fight of her life — not just for herself, but for her three beautiful children who are her whole world.
Idalia, 2 in September — her sweet baby girl
Dallas, 11 in august— her oldest and protective big brother
Cici, 10 in august — her bright and bubbly diva girl
Cassandra pours her heart into her children every single day — school, sports, birthday parties, bedtime snuggles. They are her everything. But as she starts treatment, she’ll need to step back from work and focus on healing. That’s why I’m asking for help on her behalf.
The money raised will go directly toward helping Cassandra and her family stay afloat during the toughest chapter of their lives — covering essential expenses like medical bills, appointment travel, everyday necessities, her kids sports to keep things semi normal for them. It will also help keep her three children supported in their day-to-day lives while their mom focuses on healing.
This support means Cassandra can fight with less fear and more strength, knowing her kids are taken care of and she’s not alone in this battle.
If you can give, know that every single dollar brings real relief and comfort. And if you can’t, your prayers, kind thoughts, and shares mean just as much.
Cassandra is a true warrior. Full of strength, love and resilience. And now it’s our turn to be her warriors. Let’s stand beside her in this fight and carry her through the hardest days with love, hope and unwavering support.
Thank you so much for your kindness, compassion, and support.
We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
With gratitude,
Missy
