Support Cass at Lithuania Christian College This Summer!

Hello Friends and Family!

This summer I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Klaipėda, Lithuania to serve as a resident assistant at a summer language school for high schoolers!

Lithuania Christian College is a north american style university in Northern Europe. In the process of job searching and discovering more about what I want to pursue, I came across the college and this short-term summer opportunity. With a mission of giving students from all over the world the chance to study and learn English in a faith-based environment, LCC runs a Summer Language Institute during the month of July. LCC strives to discover what language and education can look like in the context of community building, and provides not just classes but clubs, events, dorm activities and travel experiences for students.

I will have the pleasure of being a part of the Resident Life team that will walk alongside these students during their time with LCC! I am excited to not only watch students discover who they are in partnership with our community, but I am excited to be challenged myself.

The College works alongside its staff to fundraise and prepare for the trip. But because I’m joining the process very late in the game I will be fundraising for the trip individually. But I hope to make it very clear that if you’re interested in supporting me, my pledge to you is that all funds I receive will be used strictly for the program expenses, travel, and living expenses, with a total budget of about $2,000. The fundraising will cover my travel expenses and $500 of living expenses for the month that I am working in the program.

Raising funds for this opportunity is required by LCC, but is only a small part of how you might be interested in my experience. My hope with including you in this is to also convey how much your prayer and support means not just to this specific experience but in the context of my life.
