Our dog Casper needs dental surgery. Our regular vet thought she could do the procedure, but while he was under anesthesia, Casper stopped breathing on his own, and she wasn’t able to safely complete it. Now we’ve been referred to a dental specialist, and the price tag for that kind of care is a lot higher than we ever expected. Casper is such a sweet, gentle soul who’s already been through so much — he was dropped off at a shelter at 10 years old before we adopted him and gave him a home. We just want to get him out of pain and back to feeling like himself again. If anyone wants to help out, anything at all would mean the world to us. The reason Casper teeth are so bad is because his last owner left him in a cage for hours and hours. Casper would chew his way out. So now his teeth are chipped cracked and broken up pretty bad.
