support casey's gender affirming care journey

hello!!!!

I’m humbly seeking support, primarily with my gender affirming care costs. I was lucky enough to have top surgery on 7/31/24, and have a hysterectomy scheduled 1/22/25.

I’m extremely lucky to have the majority of these procedures covered by insurance, but the out-of-pocket costs associated with the procedure, and frankly, therapy, have amassed to be more than I can handle at this time.

on top of this, I am juggling other financial strains and struggles due to a private six-figure student loan that’s haunted me since I was 18. I have legal help here, thankfully, that I am pursuing, but it is still an arduous and taxing process. basically, with all of this, I can’t seem to get my head above water financially right now.

I truly hate to ask for help, but I hope this is something I can pay forward to other trans and queer folks someday that need it. I love y’all so much. It’s humbling beyond belief to share all of this, but this is where I’m at right now.
