Support Casey's Fight Against Burkitt's Lymphoma

Hey friends and family, this is Grant again. I wanted to give you an update on Casey. So as most of you know, but maybe you don't, C and I moved to Dallas late last year and frankly, the health care here that we've received has been absolutely terrible.
Unfortunately, with Texas being the state that it is, we were denied Medicare coverage because we didn't have a child or a disability, so with no insurance, we were VERY limited with our choices of hospitals. There was one option and that was Parkland. Parkland Hospital is one of the nation's largest public hospitals and to be quite honest, it's been a nightmare from day one.
After receiving such bad care, we decided to buy private insurance through a PPO plan and of course, that naturally screwed up everything with Parkland, so they have literally stopped giving Casey treatment in the middle of his Burkitt's lymphoma diagnosis! Burkitt's lymphoma is a rare and highly aggressive (fast-growing) B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma that can affect the jaw, bowel, kidneys, ovaries, or other organs, and if not treated fast enough, it can spread to the central nervous system. Long story short, Parkland is HORRIBLE and the private insurance we purchased is not the correct plan and won't cover these specialty treatments.
Casey needs better care, he needs a place with an established Oncology department that actually knows what they are dealing with and in order to get him that Casey needs better insurance and to be honest, the last 4 weeks, in and out of hospitals, filling his meds, food, Ubers, etc., it all added up and I'm very limited on funds. So, if you are able to and in a position where you can, anything would be greatly appreciated and go directly to getting Casey the care our sweet man so deserves!! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers.
