Support Casey “Tig” Tignor and His Family During Recovery
We are raising funds to support Casey “Tig” Tignor and his family after a serious and life-altering accident.
Casey is a devoted husband to his loving wife, Courtney, and a proud father to four sons—Cullen, Cruz, Creed, and Case. He is the sole provider for his family. Casey is also current serving as a dedicated Sergeant with the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office, and a longtime SWAT Operator and SWAT Medic with the Gastonia Regional SWAT Team. Throughout his career, Casey has selflessly put himself in harm’s way to protect others, often running toward danger when others are running away.
Over the weekend, while spending time with his family during what was meant to be a family fun day of sledding, Casey was involved in a severe accident when he struck a metal pole. The impact caused significant injuries, including an inoperable pelvic fracture and a broken fibula in his lower leg. These injuries will require extensive rehabilitation and a long, difficult recovery.
Due to the severity of his injuries, Casey will be out of work for several months, focusing entirely on healing. During this time, Courtney will be carrying an incredible load supporting Casey through recovery while caring for their four young boys. The family will be facing not only emotional strain, but also the financial burden that comes with lost income, medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, travel for appointments, and everyday living needs.
We are asking our community to rally around the Tignor family in a practical and meaningful way. Funds raised through this fundraiser will help relieve the financial pressure during Casey’s recovery, allowing their family to focus on healing, stability, and being together during this challenging season.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider keeping Casey, Courtney, Cullen, Cruz, Creed, and Case in your prayers and sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word. Every donation, prayer, and message of encouragement means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with the Tignor family during this incredibly difficult time.
