On May 16th, Casey, my brother-in-law, was driving his small motorcycle back home from work when he got hit by a distracted driver. He was seriously hurt with multiple fractures, which include two ribs, lower back vertebrae, both wrists, one knee, one tibia, and both ankles. He had undergone reconstructive surgery for a wrist, knee, and ankle, and now he is facing a long road of physical therapy to recover and literally get back on his feet. This accident has disrupted their life in a tremendous way. Casey is a hardworking and loving husband and father of two children, and an active member of his church.
