from Kyle:
> My brother battled drug addiction for several years. Deep down, he had a good heart—he was fighting the drugs, not embracing them. He never committed a violent offense in his life and was another victim of the poison that is fentanyl.
In the months leading up to his relapse, something changed. He found Jesus again. His skin began to glow. His strength returned. Even his voice softened. We witnessed a transformation—his soul finding light again. And we were blessed to meet people during that time who helped guide him back to God.
But humans are not perfect. In moments of weakness, we can return to what destroys us. My brother did not lose to addiction—he fought it to the end. I ask that you remember him as a fighter, as a servant of God, and most of all—as my beautiful brother.
He’s free now—free from the chains of addiction, at peace in the arms of the Lord.
If you find it in your heart to help us give him the burial he deserves, my family and I will be forever grateful.
