Hello everyone,
My name is Victoria, and I have the privilege of being Heather's little sister and the proud aunt of two truly remarkable little warriors, Case and Cooper. As someone who works in the medical field, I have witnessed firsthand the overwhelming financial burden that our healthcare system can impose, along with the constant stress of navigating medical insurance policy and coverage.
Today, I am reaching out on behalf of the Brown Family, hoping to ease some of the weight they are carrying during this challenging journey. Many of you may already know that Case and Cooper have spent over 200 days in the NICU—a testament to their strength and resilience. We are immensely grateful for the exceptional care they have received at Memorial Hermann and for the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to support them.
With Case preparing to come home, Heather and Jason are about to embark on an exciting yet daunting new chapter—caring for a child with medical needs in their own home. This transition brings unique challenges, including the ongoing costs of essential items like medications, specialized nutrition, medical supplies, and round-the-clock care.
Your generous donations will not only assist with the mounting medical expenses that have accumulated over the past 7 months but will also help support Cooper, who will need to remain in the NICU for at least four more months. Your support will make a profound difference in the lives of a family facing a monumental change.
One of my favorite sayings in medicine is, "You can have 1,000 problems in life until you have a health problem. Then you only have one." This reminds us of the importance of perspective and compassion in our lives.
Thank you for considering a contribution to this incredible family and for standing alongside the strongest babies in the world. Your kindness can help lighten their burden and bring hope during this challenging time.
