Cascades Academy Third Annual Holiday Gift Giving Fund

We know families like to acknowledge the faculty and staff who help make our children’s experience at Cascades Academy so special. The Family Association is pleased to offer families the option of participating in a group Faculty/Staff Holiday Gift as a way to say “thank you” to all the employees who’s caring attitude and hard work are vital to our community.

Parents are welcome to contribute to the Faculty/Staff Holiday Gift in any amount they choose; donations are voluntary and anonymous. The monies collected will be pooled, divided equally among ALL teachers, specialists and staff, and distributed to every employee before winter break.

Research, evidence, and experience shows that this way of giving results is a wonderfully equitable, inclusive and generous way to recognize our faculty and staff for the holidays. The employee gifts will be given on behalf of all Cascade Academy families.

While participation in this program is optional, the school does ask that parents not opt to give individual gifts directly to any faculty or staff member due to the inequity that this creates among co-workers. Personal notes and/or handmade gifts from the heart from students or parents are always welcome.
