Hi, we are the Grant family! My name is Jordan Grant and I am the daughter of Cary Grant. He is a loving husband to my mother, Karen Grant, and an amazing father to me and my brother, Austin Grant. My father has devoted his entire adulthood and career to serving others and being very active in the Huntsville, Alabama community as a social worker. He has always put others first!

My dad is living with a diagnosis termed Sarcoidosis, a chronic inflammatory disease that primarily affects the lungs. It is characterized by the formation of small, non-cancerous clumps of cells called granulomas in the lungs. This diagnosis has limited his daily activities.

We are patiently waiting to receive a donor transplant for both lungs and a heart. For the last month, my family and I have been traveling from Alabama to Jacksonville, Florida, to see specialists at the Mayo Clinic. My dad could have surgery any day now, as he is patiently waitng at the Mayo Clinic. My parents are temporarily living in Jacksonville for approximately the next 6 to 7 months. This fundraiser will be set up to help offset expenses such as medical, travel, food and lodging.
