On Thursday June 4th, 53 Parkhurst Street set on fire. This was home to Dulcinea and her son Hernani Carvalho for nearly 40 years where she raised both her children. They are now displaced and lost almost everything. Because Hernani is disabled, finding an apartment to accommodate them is difficult. They are deciding to stay with Dulcinea’s daughter Sonia. Although Sonia opened her home to her mom and brother this is a hardship for her as well. Preparing the house for her brother to live there comfortably is going to be costly. Any donations you can make will be greatly appreciated.
