This fundraiser is organized by Taryn Faust, Family Friend, on Behalf of Carter's parents.
On July 28, Carter Fulton was run over by a car while riding his scooter, which resulted in significant injuries and a long road to recovery.
If you know Carter, you know there is truly nobody quite like him. At 12 years old, he is larger than life. Whether through his quick wit, endless sense of humor, and perfectly timed (maybe inappropriate) one-liners and comments that keep everyone on their toes. He has a way of making every room, locker room, classroom, and rink a little more memorable.
Carter is an active member of the Osseo Maple Grove Hockey Association (OMGHA), Breakaway Academy, and SDP community, where he has built countless friendships and touched the lives of teammates, coaches, teachers and families alike. His toughness, determination, and unmistakable personality have always made him stand out, and those same traits are helping him fight through this challenge.
As Carter and his family focus on healing and recovery, we are coming together as a community to help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and ongoing care. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help support Carter and his family through this difficult time.
The care Carter has received from the incredible team at Hennepin Healthcare Burn Center has been nothing short of extraordinary. In recognition of their compassion and dedication, any funds remaining after Carter's medical and recovery-related expenses will be donated directly to this unit located within HCMC to help support other patients and families facing similar challenges.
Most of all, we ask that you keep Carter and his family in your thoughts. Thank you for your generosity, support, and for being part of the community that Carter loves so much!
