Hello, I’m Jolene, Carter's aunt. I am starting this GoFundMe to try to ease the burden of finances for the family during this difficult time. As you may know, Carter was admitted to Mayo St. Mary’s PICU on October 30th. He was put on the heart transplant list and listed as top priority. Carter and his entire family have a very long road ahead of them. Carter will be living at the hospital until he receives his heart and for several months after. His family is looking at 4-6 months at a minimum of living in Rochester. The cost of hotels, food, gas, lost time at work, and we haven’t even touched the fact that medical bills are about to pile up.

Carter just learned his 16th birthday, when every kid is dreaming of getting their license, will be spent in the hospital. The upcoming holidays are included in that hospital stay. Please, whatever you can donate to this family would be greatly appreciated. As money is tight right now for everyone, if you are unable to donate, please pray for Carter.
