Carter Wesley Koebrick, son of Jared and Jessica (Mayer) Koebrick, was born December 5th with a rare heart defect, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which means the left side of his heart is severely undersized. Carter will undergo a series of heart surgeries between now and four years of age. These surgeries will redirect the blood flow in his heart and arteries to make pumping blood to his lungs easier.

With all the surgeries, hospital stays and doctor appointments, Jared and Jess will have many additional expenses such as gas, hotel stays and meals just to name a few .
