Support Carter Rountree's FIGHT against Lymphoma!

It's a shock to us all to share that my brother Carter Rountree has lymphoma. Recently, Carter found a lump in his neck after some dental work. At first, he thought it was just swollen lymph nodes or a cyst. After an untrasound, it was determined to be a mass. We were still hopeful that it had to do with his thyroid, but after a biopsy and CT scan, it was indeed cancer. Carter was diagnosed with Lymphoma March 7, 2024.

I am starting this GoFundMe with the hopes that we: friends, family, coworkers and the community at large can support Carter as he goes though this journey. I want to help ease the burden that he and his wife Amy will incur. I know Carter won't be alone as Amy, a Klein ISD school teacher of more than 25 years, has already shared that many of her friends and coworkers want to lift them up in prayer and help. Carter's friends have been calling and texting him as well. I want my brother to have peace of mind that we got this as he fights cancer. The goal of this fundraiser is solely to help pay for his medical bills as he is self-employed and underinsured. He has already had many labs, scans, tests, and doctors appointments out the wazoo. The great news is that he starts chemo this Thursday, March 28!! After chemo, he will do several rounds of radiation. Carter feels so incrediably blessed as there is every indication that he will beat this!
