Hi everyone,
We’re asking for support for Carter Reed, who recently suffered a severe tibia plateau fracture, a serious break in his leg that has completely changed his life. Since the injury, Carter has already gone through three surgeries, two of them to repair the bone and another to fight off a dangerous infection.
In addition to the fracture, Carter also suffered a deep tissue injury to his foot, which has caused further complications. He currently has no feeling from the knee down due to serious nerve damage and is unable to move his ankle or foot, which has now begun to atrophy. Doctors have told him that he won’t be able to walk for at least 4–6 months, and his recovery will require extensive physical therapy and long-term medical care.
Because he can’t work, Carter is struggling to keep up with medical bills, living expenses, and the ongoing cost of treatment. He’s always been someone who shows up for others, now it’s our turn to show up for him.
Any donation, big or small, will go directly toward helping Carter get the care he needs and stay on his feet, literally and financially, while he heals. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word.
Thank you all for your kindness, prayers, and support as Carter fights his way back to recovery. ❤️
