Our beloved Carter—a cherished friend, devoted fiancé, sister, and loving daughter—has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. This devastating news has turned her world upside down, but Carter is a fighter, and she’s ready to take on this battle with all her strength, courage, and her sense of humor.

Carter, who’s never met a bad joke or an awkward moment she couldn’t turn into comedy gold, who’s been the life of every party and is the queen of witty one-liners, is now facing the most challenging battle of her life. We all know Carter would much rather be bouncing in a bouncy house than dealing with doctors, appointments, and mountains of medical bills. But here she is, in a situation that she did not choose.

Here’s the tea: cancer sucks. She’s tackling this head-on with grit, grace, and a lot of sarcastic commentary, but the medical bills? Not so funny.

We’re asking for help to cover her mounting medical costs that are NOT covered by her insurance. Every dollar you donate will go toward her treatments, medications, and getting her back on her feet.

Carter’s treatment plan is as demanding as it is necessary, which she will endure:

This does not include any office/clinic or treatment appointments such as biopsies, imaging scans like MRI and CT scans, hospital stays, targeted therapies, multiple laboratory costs, specialists, rehabilitation, attempts to save her hair, and medication to try and save her fertility, as a family is what she is most wanting in the future.

As you can imagine, this journey is not only physically and emotionally draining but also financially overwhelming. Between medical expenses, lost wages, and daily living costs, the financial burden is staggering, and we are very humbled as we write this.

Carter has always been a light in our lives—lifting others up with her kindness, wit, humor, and unwavering support and love.
