For many in our Keller Williams family, Carter is more than a Market Center Coordinator—he’s been a constant, steady presence since 2013. Always willing to help, always showing up, and always taking care of the details that keep everything running. His wife, Deb, is just as much a part of this community. As a former Broker-in-Charge and now with Next Chapter Home Group, she has poured years into supporting agents and building relationships across our network.
Over the past few months, Carter has been facing a series of serious health challenges. After a fall in January that resulted in four broken ribs, he hasn’t fully recovered. What started as a difficult injury has now turned into something much more complex and concerning. Since Wednesday, April 22, Carter has been in the hospital undergoing extensive testing, including MRIs and biopsies. Doctors are still working to determine the cause—whether it may be related to his kidneys, an autoimmune condition, or something else entirely. At this time, we are still waiting on critical pathology results. His condition has progressed to the point where he is currently unable to walk. He is receiving physical therapy and may soon transition to a rehabilitation facility as part of his recovery journey.
In the midst of all of this, Carter and Deb are also navigating unexpected home renovations to make their bathroom accessible due to his injury—adding another layer of financial and emotional strain during an already overwhelming time. If you know Carter and Deb, you know they are the first to step up for others. Now it’s our turn to step up for them. We are raising funds to help support ongoing medical expenses, hospital care, rehabilitation and physical therapy, necessary home modifications for accessibility, and lost income during this time. Every contribution—no matter the size—makes a meaningful difference. And if you’re not in a position to give, your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this page are just as appreciated. Let’s surround Carter and Deb with the same care, generosity, and strength they’ve shown so many of us over the years. Thank you for your support.
