On April 7th, 2026, at approximately 12:40 pm, Carson was a passenger in a vehicle that tragically rolled off a cliff. He had to be transported via ambulance from Butte to Billings to receive care from their trauma center.

His football dreams have been placed on hold due to his spinal cord injury. He will have a long recovery ahead of him with many appointments in other cities.
