These last couple of months have been humbling for us as a family as we learned the Carson is in need of a liver transplant.

As of 9/19/2025, Carson was placed on the transplant list and is anxiously waiting.

During this time, Carson is dealing with major health complications which has kept him in and out of the hospital for more than a month.

As of today (9/20/2025) Doctors have decided to hold him at the hospital to monitor his health while he waits for the transplant.

Receiving the new liver will be the start of a long road. He will have a long recovery ahead of him. It is anticipated that he will be in the hospital for many weeks after the procedure.

The cost of care while maintaining a household up to this point has been overwhelming. The expenses will continue to multiply many times over as he will need many medications, equipment, rehab, and therapy through this long process.
