Friends and Family, I would like to share that I have been given the opportunity to attend Summer Leadership Project with Campus Outreach Augusta.

My first year at college has just come to an end, and the Lord has been working in my life in many ways. While it has been hard to adjust to the changes of college, I praise God for giving me a spirit that has had the strength to remain in Him. That being said, I have been eagerly praying for new opportunities to grow in a deeper, more intentional relationship with Christ. While I have kept the faith since coming to college, I have struggled with a lack of zeal. This has led me to see my need for Summer Leadership Project.

Summer Leadership Project is not just a conference; it’s an intentional opportunity to walk into a new season of not only growing in faith, but learning how to be an image-bearer of Christ, and evangelize to others. There will be daily Bible studies and seminars that are purposed in equipping students like me on how to live a more Godly life.

My prayer for Summer Leadership Project is that I will be able to grasp the love of Christ in a new way that can be reflected in the way I live for Him. I desire to know God’s love in a deeper way that allows me to truly know what it is like to rest in Him, and become the man of God He has created me to be.

Lastly, I see my need for Summer Leadership Project as I will be attending a 2-month EMT training course this summer away from home. Going into summer, I know the busyness ahead. I want to grow in letting go of control over my own life, receiving the peace of Christ, and allowing Him to take control. I think Summer Leadership Project will be a great opportunity for me to be still and meditate on who Christ is, what He has done for me, and how I can trust what He will do for me.

In order to attend Summer Leadership Project, I am required to raise support of $1300. Before financial help, I would greatly appreciate prayer over my trip, and all of the students attending. Lastly, if you feel led to help me financially, please know your investment is greatly appreciated. Not only will you be investing in supporting and loving me, but you will invest in what I know will positively change the way I walk with Christ for the rest of my life.
