Support Carson's Healing Journey Together

Carson has been in Children's Mercy since 9/28. Carson has battled pneumonia and now a secondary infection has set in his GI system. We're trying to figure out what's going on. Carson is currently on IV fluids and all feeding options have stopped while his gut takes a vacation. He's been given stomach acid medicine to help heal the gut. We've done imaging to see if we're missing anything. They want more bowel samples to run testing on. Waiting on results to see how we move forward.

His mom has been with him since the ER trip on 9/27 through transport to Children's Mercy. She had to put her job training on hold to focus on Carson's medical needs. Dad comes down as he can to give mom a few hours or an overnight break.

Any help for meals, snacks, drinks down here as parent guest trays have gone from free to $5 trays, gas to and from home during switch outs, and assisting with bills that come in during his stay to keep home rolling while unable to work is appreciated! Prayers and support have been so wonderful.
