Carson is a 10-year-old boy who is currently facing the toughest fight of his life.

Carson’s mom, Leanna, noticed that he was experiencing headaches and worsening vision problems. She took him to the eye doctor for an updated eye exam. It was then revealed that Carson had swelling on his optic nerve, and the ophthalmologist referred him to a neurologist for further testing. After receiving an MRI, it was discovered that Carson had a tumor on his brain and would need to have surgery to remove it and send it off for additional testing. The surgery was successful, but the pathology results confirmed that it was cancerous. Carson was diagnosed with stage II Diffuse Glioma, and doctors have informed him and his family that this is a very rare form of Glioma and it is likely that it will continue to come back even after treatment.

This is something that no one should have to go through, especially a child. This GoFundMe was created in an attempt to help Carson and his family with medical bills and lost wages during this unstable and scary time, in hopes that his family will be able to focus on Carson and helping him fight against this horrible disease.
