It is with a heavy heart that I am reaching out to ask for help on behalf of my stepson, Carson Smith. Carson’s mother, Tiffany Sue Engelbrecht (McIntyre), unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, September 4th, 2025, at the age of 57.
Tiffany was not only a devoted mother but also a caring daughter who was looking after her elderly father. Now, in addition to the immense grief of losing his mother, Carson is facing the responsibility of handling multiple financial challenges during this difficult time.
Carson is currently away at Navy Boot Camp in Chicago, and he will be unable to assist financially with the following expenses:
Funeral & Memorial Arrangements: The cost of laying his mother to rest.
Travel Expenses: Costs for Carson to travel to and from Boot Camp in Chicago, so he can be present during this emotional time.
Moving Expenses: The costs involved in moving his grandfather into a nursing home where he can receive proper care, and also moving his mother’s belongings out of the rental home.
Remaining Car Payments: There are still three payments remaining on Tiffany’s car, which will eventually go to Carson.
As Carson is unable to be here to handle these matters personally, we are asking for your help to cover the financial burden he is now facing. Your generous donations will help ease the weight of these final expenses and allow Carson to focus on mourning his mother’s loss, rather than worrying about how to cover these pressing financial needs.
How Your Support Will Help:
Funeral & Memorial Services
Travel to and from Boot Camp
Moving Grandfather to Nursing Home
Moving Out of Rental Home & Associated Costs
Remaining Car Payments
Carson is a dedicated young man, serving our country with the Navy, and his mother was incredibly proud of him. It is devastating that he is unable to be home to handle this himself. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a world of difference during this heartbreaking time. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your compassion, kindness, and support as Carson navigates through this incredibly difficult moment in his life.
With deepest gratitude,
Katy and Sherwin Smith
