Carson and Chris Family Recovery
Donation protected
Carson, Chris, and their two daughters, Stirling (3) and Elara (9 months) evacuated the Eton Fire from their beloved home in Altadena, CA. With only moments to collect the bare essentials, the family left within an hour of learning they needed to leave, fully expecting to return.
After much uncertainty, they learned their home had survived the fire but withstood extensive smoke damage, with ash coating every surface. As a result, nearly everything they own will need to be disposed of resulting in a total loss. The family has been displaced, staying in multiple hotels and airbnb’s over the last few weeks. This would be devastating for any person but is especially difficult with two very young children. The next few months will be challenging as the family does not know when they’ll be able to access their home and begin this difficult process of recovery.
Losing everything they own while also losing their Altadena community, the first place to ever feel like home for these two transplants, has been crushing. Please join us as we help them restart their lives.
