At the beginning of this year, my mom, Carri Prior, was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma. With the cancer being missed by doctors for months, it progressed rapidly and spread throughout her body. Doctors recommended a double mastectomy with radiation and chemotherapy.

After a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, breast reconstruction, and countless other medications/lab tests, our family has had immeasurable amounts of medical bills racking up.

In the new year, after healing from surgeries, my mom is going to be traveling overseas for cancer treatments in South Africa.

We are very grateful as an entire family for all of our friends and family who have already helped us immensely.

My mom has always been one to think of others and how we can help shed light in others' lives, and even through this, she has continuously been there for others. Now is the time I am asking for us to help her.
