If you know Carrie, you know she is the most positive, smiling, light-up-the-room kind of person. She loves to sing, grab a karaoke mic, dance like no one is watching, and make everyone around her laugh. She is the heart of our family. She is my best friend.

Recently, she had surgery to remove a new tumor, and she is now preparing to begin a 6 month very aggressive round of radiation and chemotherapy. While the road ahead will be incredibly challenging, she is facing it the only way she knows how — with strength, courage, and determination.

She is strong. She is brave. And she is not giving up.

She had just started a new job when this happened. Because of that, she does not qualify for the same financial benefits she had during her first cancer fight. As she steps away from work to focus on treatment and healing, she is left without the safety net she once had.

Right now, her only job should be fighting cancer — not worrying about bills.

We are raising funds to help cover:

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance

• Radiation and chemotherapy costs

• Living expenses while she is unable to work

• Travel and recovery needs during treatment
