My best friend, Carrie was unexpectedly placed into a medically induced coma and put on life support on Wednesday evening. She has endured many unexpected medical issues that have unfortunately spiraled into her needing open heart surgery, several IV medications, and a transfer to a more skilled hospital as she is currently on an ECMO machine. She has a very long road ahead of her, and her fiance Allan and their 2 boys are going to be doing a lot of traveling back and forth along with her and Allan both missing several weeks of work.
