My name is Wendy Doute and Carrie Cox is my dear friend who is battling stage 4 melanoma. I have fundraised for Carrie in the past and every dollar raised has helped Carrie in her fight. This fight has taken her to Honduras and now Mexico for TOL treatment that is showing reduction in cancer in her body. This is the first treatment so far in this battle that has shown any positive results.

Carrie has not been able to work during this fight. She has some good days and many not so great days. She gets tired very easy, her body aches and she does not have the strength to do too much, including doing hair. Her funds are low and her treatment costs are high. Carrie is receiving both conventional medical treatment and holistic. Her holistic care is not covered by insurance. This care is helping her feel better. It gives her pain relief and energy. It helps her have her "some good days"
