Hello! My name is Carrie and I'm here in desperate need of help.

I care for 21 dogs full time for the last 2 years. I know that having a pet comes with much responsibility and ensuring that your pet is safe and healthy. One day, I was walking through a friend's yard and I noticed a little tail sticking out from under a bench, barely able to move. Some parts of his skin and ear even had a leather texture. I was just so shocked. I have watched this pup grow from a baby because he would pass by my house every day and stop so I could say hello.

It took 2 days before he could go outside on his own to use the bathroom. In the beginning, I had to carry him out. I already had 2 female dogs; needless to say, he got them both pregnant. Both females had a litter of 8 pups.

Now, I have done this for almost a year. I have had no income in years but have supported these dogs to my best ability. They weigh 48 pounds of dog food in 2 days; that's a lot of money. But the toll it's taking on my body physically is starting to become a problem as well. Just the emotional toll of knowing my babies are not receiving the best care possible is profound.

I seek alternatives that will allow my babies to stay with me because I'm all they know. All I hope for is whatever you can do and nothing more. I know in life sometimes you might wake up and realize that everybody at some point needs a little help. Dog food, dog toys, blankets, money—anything will help. Thanks for your time and be blessed.
