Carrie Haigh is a loving wife, mother of three young children, Registered Nurse, and friend to so many. She could use our help with daily living expenses, medical bills, and supporting income loss as she battles Pancreatic Cancer. Please help Carrie and her family during this time of need. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated.
A message from Carrie:
On March 20th, our world changed in an instant.
After weeks of not feeling quite right and noticing changes I couldn't explain, I went in for testing thinking it might be something minor.
Instead, I was told I have a large mass on my pancreas. Since that day, life has been filled with scans, appointments, waiting, and a lot of uncertainty.
I am a 39-year-old wife and mom to three young children. Everything I do revolves around my family, and suddenly I am facing a diagnosis that has turned our lives upside down.
After further testing, I was diagnosed with a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. While this type of tumor is often slower growing than other pancreatic cancers, it is still serious and requires major medical care. The tumor is large and located in a difficult area, and I will likely need a major surgery to remove it. There is also a possibility that I could lose part or all of my pancreas, which would mean lifelong medical changes.
Right now, I am already facing ongoing medical expenses, including a medication that my body now depends on that costs $700 every month.
As we prepare for surgery and recovery, we are also navigating insurance limitations, potential out-of-network specialist opinions, and time away from work.
The recovery ahead will not be easy. It will mean time away from my children, needing extra help at home, and focusing fully on healing so I can be here for them long-term.
In the middle of all of this, I have found strength in my faith, and my husband, and I have grown even closer as we face this together. We are holding on to hope and doing everything we can to move forward with courage.
If you feel led to support our family during this time-whether through a donation, a prayer, or sharing this page-we are incredibly grateful.
Every bit of support helps ease the burden and allows me to focus on what matters most: getting healthy and being here for my kids.
Thank you for standing with us during this unexpected chapter.
