As many of you know by now, my only sister, Carrie, was diagnosed last summer with AML, an aggressive form of leukemia.  After many weeks in the hospital and away from my nephews and niece, she was finally able to come home.  About a year ago we confirmed that the she was in leukemia.  Unfortunately, within the last couple of weeks Carrie has began feeling bad again and after more bloodwork and tests, the doctor confirmed that the leukemia has returned.

She is fortunate enough that the cancer is not as aggressive this time around and the doctors are hopeful.  Because she has had to start undergoing chemotherapy again, causing a decline in her immune system, it makes working and supporting her family difficult.  

If you're able to donate anything, even the smallest amount will help to keep a roof over their heads and the power on while Carrie continues her battle.  My sister is my hero and one of the strongest women I know.  Thank you for your continued love and prayers for her, the kids, and our family!
