Hello everyone,

After going through three rounds of chemo, life has dealt Carolyn yet another opportunity to show how strong she is. Following a routine checkup, her doctors discovered that her liver was not functioning as it should be. After spending 2 weeks in the hospital for monitoring, she underwent an emergency liver transplant for non-alcohol related Liver failure. She was fortunate to receive a donor liver in such a quick time frame.

Carolyn is doing wonderfully in her recovery, but she has a long road ahead of her. She has an excellent support team consisting of Larry, Barbara, Susie, and Satoko that will be with her 24/7 for the next 3 months. We are looking to raise money to be able to give her all of the tools and support she will need to get her back to her wonderful and active life of exercising in the pool, hanging with her friends (The Crew), and talking with all of her wonderful clients.

Thank you so much for the tremendous support that you have shown for Carolyn as she recovers from her transplant. Carolyn is recovering quickly in the wonderful hands of Larry, Barbara, Satoko and Susie. We can’t believe it has already (and only!) been one month since the transplant. Carolyn is going on daily walks at Miramar Lake and Lake View Park. They are regularly increasing in length, and she is becoming more and more independent again in her daily tasks. She couldn’t have done it without your support, and greatly appreciates the donations that have helped her to have access to everything she needs during this time.
